Dr. Smith’s transition into concierge medicine alongside Dr. Ryan Griffin has been a seamless progression rooted in his passion for functional medicine, aging, and longevity. Inspired by a desire to revive the personalized approach of traditional medical care, Dr. Smith seeks to foster enduring relationships with his patients, transcending the confines of routine office visits. This commitment is driven by a profound understanding that true healthcare extends beyond treating ailments to encompass overall well-being and life balance. Drawing on his extensive experience as an Emergency Room physician, where he adeptly managed acutely ill patients, Dr. Smith now channels his expertise into proactively maintaining the health of his patients in the comfort of their homes. By leveraging his wealth of resources and knowledge, he aims to promote healthy habits and wellness, thereby preventing illness and optimizing the quality of life for those under his care. Residing in the Jacksonville area for over 15 years with his wife and three young children, Dr. Smith has deep roots in the community. Originally from the Tampa Bay area, he earned his undergraduate degree at The Florida State University before pursuing his medical education at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. Following graduation, he pursued his dream of becoming an Emergency Medicine physician by completing his residency at the University of Florida Emergency Medicine program in Jacksonville. Dr. Smith currently holds privileges at UF Flagler St. John’s, Baptist Medical Center, and Ascension St. Vincent’s, demonstrating his commitment to delivering high-quality care across multiple medical institutions.
