What does the Gut Health Test diagnose?
This is not a diagnostic test. Thorne's Gut Health Test is designed to identify all the microorganisms in a sample and help you to understand how they may be relating to your gut health symptoms, such as constipation, diarrhea, inflammation, gas, acne, brain fog, and more, but not specifically to treat infections, such as those caused by parasites.
What should I do if my test results are outside of a normal range?
Results are reviewed by a network of doctors, but we recommend you follow up with your primary care provider or a Thorne Professional about your results. We provide lifestyle, dietary, and supplement recommendations to help maintain healthy levels of biomarkers and organs evaluated in this test. Please remember, biomarkers can vary significantly between tests with lifestyle changes, and even day to day from hydration or dietary reasons, therefore, follow-up testing may be recommended if results are unexpected.
