Super EPAVET Details
The current formula features 425 mg of EPA and 270 mg of DHA per gel cap. EPA and DHA are very beneficial for maintaining good cardiovascular health. They support good circulation by promoting healthy blood vessels, by optimizing vascular endothelial function, and by maintaining healthy lipid levels. They also support healthy brain function, especially in the aging animal.
ThorneVET's fish oil product has been a best-selling product since its introduction in the product line. ThorneVET's specification for its Super EPAVET raw ingredient requires molecular distillation of the fish oil to ensure the removal of cholesterol and contaminants, including PCPs and heavy metals. In addition, the fish oil is derived from anchovies, a known "non-accumulating" species of fish.
