Professional Statement

I have been a licensed Acupuncturist since 2001 and have successfully treated people for a wide variety of health conditions including stress, anxiety, depression, PTSD, insomnia, fibromyalgia, MS, Parkinson's, pain disorders, gastrointestinal issues, menstrual concerns, infertility, low energy and much more. Below is a list of the services I offer. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) including: o Traditional Chinese-Style Acupuncture o Scalp Acupuncture (a specialized approach for neurological and psychological disorders) o Chinese Herbal Medicine o Chinese Nutrition (foods are utilized to re-establish balance in the body) o Tuina (Oriental Massage) o Acupressure o Guasha o Cupping Acutone™ A unique, non-invasive form of Oriental healing that uses pure sound (via tuning forks) to harmonize the meridians (energy pathways) and to invigorate the body’s energy. I studied Acutone under John Pirog, who developed this new system of healing in conjunction with another acupuncturist. Customized Stress Management Plans Since the body, mind and emotions are interconnected, a high level of wellness can only be achieved using a holistic approach. Over the years, I have extensively researched the influence of our emotional and mental states on physical health and vice versa. I integrate the Eastern practices of Traditional Chinese Medicine with my Western training in Health Psychology to provide individually tailored stress management plans.
