About
Shaunna Sutcliffe, ERYT-500hr. I am Shaunna the owner and operator of Rising Tide Wellness & Yoga. I want to live in every moment every day, surf when I am 80, and play with my great-grandkids. It is my pleasure and my goal to help you create similar goals and to achieve them. Yoga and wellness have helped me do this, and to overcome stress & chronic pain, which can cause premature aging and disease. I truly believe that without yoga, self-care, and nutrition, I would be severely disabled. As a chronic disease and pain survivor, I need movement, supplements, nutrition, and self-care to overcome tension, pain, and fatigue. So not only do I know about pain, but I have survived it and am now thriving! Certifications and Training: In 2012 I received my 200-hour Certification with Heartsong Yoga In Beaverton. In 2015 I received my 500-hour Holistic Yoga Therapeutics with Annie Adamson at Yoga Union in Portland, Oregon, and Primal Vinyasa Certification in 2017 from Annie as well. I have training in Vinyasa yoga, Yoga for Seniors, and Chair yoga, and certifications in Aerial Yoga, and The Roll Model Method (self-massage training with Jill Miller). In October 2021 I received my Reiki 1 certification and will receive my Health Coach Certification in December 2021. In 2023 I took the Yoga and Lympathics Training with Yoga Medicine and the Trauma Informed training with Sedona Yoga Festival.
