Dr. Timothy Schwaiger received his naturopathic medical degree from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM) in Tempe Arizona, and and has over thirty years of health-related experience. Dr. Schwaiger recently served as Chief Medical Officer at Bastyr University in California before moving to Prescott with his wife, Debra. He now maintains a practice in both Prescott Arizona and starting in September 2018 he will be at Bastyr University Clinic in San Diego, CA. Dr. Schwaiger has been in practice since 1999 and loves being a naturopathic physician. He uses naturopathic modalities as well as an integrative approach to pain management and cancer therapy, using adjunct therapies such as low dose naltrexone, trigger point injections, melatonin, nasal glutathione, acupuncture, medicinal mushrooms such as Trametes versicolor, and IV therapy. He is very experienced in the use of hormones, including thyroid, estrogen, progesterone and testosterone. As a Naturopathic physician he can help individuals with non-pharmaceutical approaches to blood pressure, depression, anxiety and insomnia. He works with all age groups and has a wide scope of practice in Arizona and California.
