About
Dr. Mike McIntyre is a Chiropractor who focuses on Foundational Correction. He has experience with many complex and severe health conditions, athletic performance, Pregnancy, and Pediatrics. Dr. Mike McIntyre graduated from Sherman College of Chiropractic. Dr. Mike McIntyre graduated from Sherman College of Chiropractic. He is certified in the Gonstead Technique through Gonstead Clinical Studies Society. Dr. McIntyre also has extensive experience with athletes of all ages and ability. â For over 20 years he has been involved with strength sports as both a competitor and coach. He continues to work with many different athletes of all ages and levelsââ with great results. Before Sherman College of Chiropractic, he attended Assumption College in MA where he graduated with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Biology. Dr. McIntyre then went on to complete a Masters of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences with a focus in Human Anatomy and Histology at A.T. Still University, where he also studied Public Health. While a student at A.T. Still University, he was awarded the Above and Beyond Humanitarian Award for his service in the community as an advocate of health and wellness. Dr. McIntyre has over two decades of experience in strength and conditioning and also enjoys competing in many different strength sports. He continues to compete in powerlifting and the Scottish Highland Games. Dr. McIntyre enjoys time with his family, strength training/competing, anything outdoors, and antique auto restoration. Dr. McIntyre's mission is to change how people view health and to bring high quality, specific Chiropractic care to his Summerville, SC community and the surrounding areas of the Low Country. Our other Doctor is Dr. Luke J. Sparaccio. Dr. Luke was born and raised in Long Island, New York. He became interested in Chiropractic when he attended a personal training program at 18. At this time, Dr. Sparaccio knew that chiropractic was his calling. After receiving a bachelor's degree in Biology from SUNY CORTLAND, he attended Sherman College of Chiropractic in Boiling Springs, SC. Dr. Sparaccio's additional training includes 300+ hours of training in the Gonstead system and analysis and completing Basic I & II training in Orthospinology, a specific upper cervical technique. He is Enrolled in Postgraduate studies in Functional Medicine at Functional Medicine Univeristy. As well as the FBCA Mastery Certification program with Dr. Dicken Weatherby, ND, and Participated in the Kharrazian Institue Clinical Mastership training program in a deep understanding of the physiology of the body to get to the underlying root causes, developing clinical treatment plans and critical thinking skills to assess and evaluate patients. In his free time, he constantly reads and explores the outdoors, improving his knowledge and understanding of the body. He has a deep passion and commitment to educating and empowering people to live and function at their highest potential.
