Can I use my regular credit card at checkout?

Yes. If you’d like to use your regular credit card, simply select that in Truemed checkout. After your purchase, Truemed will email you instructions on how to submit the receipt to your HSA/FSA administrator for reimbursement.

Can I use my HSA/ FSA at Thorne?

Yes, if qualified. Simply select Truemed as your payment option at checkout and use your FSA or HSA card as you would any other credit card. If you do not have sufficient HSA/FSA funds, you can split your payment between your credit card and HSA/FSA card.

What are FSA and HSA accounts?

Health savings accounts (HSA) and flexible spending accounts (FSA) are programs that allow you to set aside pre-tax dollars for eligible healthcare expenses. If you’re unsure whether or not you have an HSA or FSA account, please check with your employer or insurance company.

How does using my HSA/FSA account save me money?

HSA/FSA accounts were created so individuals could use pre-tax money to pay for expenses used to treat, mitigate, or prevent a diagnosed medical condition. Because HSA/FSAs use pre-tax money, you’re getting more purchasing power for your dollars. Rather than pay taxes on income and then spend it on health items, qualified customers can use pre-tax funds to invest in their health.

An individual can contribute up to $4,150 pretax to their HSA per year, or $8,300 for a family (plus an additional $1,000 if you are at least 55 years old. Individuals can contribute up to $3,200 pretax to their FSA per year (with an additional $500 in employer contributions allowed).

How can I delete my chat history with Taia?

For logged-in users, you can delete past content shared with Taia by following these steps:

- In the chat window, tap the menu icon (3 dots) and tap “Chat History”
- Tap “Delete entire chat history” to delete all saved chats
- To delete individual chats, tap the menu icon (3 dots) next to each chat and select “Delete”

When you delete your chats, they are permanently removed from Thorne's system.


For logged-out users, your chat history may be cleared from your view when you restart your browser, depending on your browser's default settings. You can also clear the chat history from your view by navigating to the menu icon (3 dots) in the chat window. From there, select "Start New Chat" to clear the window. Please note that while the history may no longer be visible to you, Thorne retains chat transcripts for up to 30 days.

How long are my interactions with Taia stored?

For logged-in users, your chat history is automatically saved to your profile and will be saved for up to 12 months. You can delete content sent to Taia in your Chat History. Chats deleted by you will be permanently deleted from Thorne’s system.

For logged-out users, your chat history is temporarily stored in your browser's local storage for the duration of your Thorne.com session. Once the session ends or the browser is closed, the chat history is retained by Thorne for up to 30 days.

Is the information I share with Taia safe?

When you use Taia, we may ask you to provide information about yourself and your health, including your wellness goals, lifestyle habits, and similar information that may include health data. This information may be sensitive personal information or consumer health data under certain US state privacy and consumer health laws. 

Any personal data you provide when using Taia will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, and any health data is also subject to our Consumer Health Data Privacy. You may withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us at privacy@thorne.com. 

Does Taia handle customer service inquiries?

No, Taia is a Wellness Advisor designed to provide personalized recommendations for wellness needsIf a customer service-related inquiry is detected in the chat, Taia will redirect to the customer service FAQs page via hyperlink.
