Thorne Hosts First-Ever Mocktail Club

After a successful supper club event earlier this year, Thorne is back with more recipes! But this time, instead of a five-course tasting menu, we held our very first mixology event.
Guests enjoyed a mocktail lesson with mixologists and had the opportunity to sample all four recipes featuring Thorne powders. Dr. Mario Roxas, Director of Research and Development at Thorne, provided details about the products and ingredients.
The event was held in celebration of Sober October, an extended global campaign to promote short-term abstinence from alcohol. You may know the movement better as Dry January. But no matter what you call it or which month you choose to take part, the research is clear – limiting alcohol consumption or taking a break altogether can be good for your health; several studies have shown doing so can benefit sleep, mood, energy, and overall health.

Beauty From Within
Featuring Thorne’s Collagen Plus
1 serving // Prep time: 5 minutes
Ingredients
- 2 oz raspberry and watermelon purée
- 1 scoop Thorne’s Collagen Plus, to taste
- 0.75 oz lemon
- 0.25 oz agave nectar
- 1 cup soda
- Mint, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice.
- Shake and fine strain into your favorite highball glass.
- Garnish with mint.
Berry Blissful
Featuring Thorne’s Amino Complex - Berry
1 serving // Prep time: 10 minutes
Ingredients
- 1.5 oz acai and chocolate purée
- 1 scoop Thorne’s Amino Complex - Berry, to taste
- 0.25 oz ginger (ginger blended with water)
- 0.75 oz honey
- 0.75 oz lime
- Sprig of marjoram, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Add all ingredients into shaker with ice.
- Shake and fine strain into your favorite cocktail glass.
- Garnish with a sprig of marjoram.
Energy Infusion
Featuring Thorne’s Amino Complex - Lemon
1 serving // Prep time: 10 minutes
Ingredients
- 0.75 oz lemon juice
- 1 oz lemongrass syrup
- 1 scoop Thorne’s Amino Complex - Lemon, to taste
- Roasted lemon
- Pebble ice
- Soda (to taste)
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to shaker with ice.
- Shake.
- Add soda and pour over pebble ice, ideally in a highball glass.
- Serve with a straw.
Evergreen Elixir
Featuring Thorne’s Daily Greens Plus
1 serving // Prep time: 15 minutes
Ingredients
- 2 oz adobo roasted pineapple (baked and puréed)
- 0.5 oz ginger (blended ginger water)
- 1 scoop Thorne’s Daily Greens Plus, for garnish
- 1 dash of organic agave
- 0.75 oz lime
- 0.5 oz simple syrup
- Soda (to taste)
- Sprig of cilantro, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Roast pineapple with adobo seasoning.
- Purée the pineapple.
- Blend ginger with water.
- Add all ingredients to shaker with ice.
- Shake.
- Dilute with soda to taste.
- Pour into a spicy salted rocks glass.
- Garnish with a sprig of cilantro and sprinkle with Thorne’s Daily Greens Plus.
