Strike Gold with 5 Daily Greens Plus Recipes in Honor of St. Patrick's Day

Matcha Mojito
1 serving // Prep time: 15 minutes
Ingredients
- 1.5 ounces hot water
- ¼ teaspoon matcha powder
- ¼ teaspoon Thorne’s Daily Greens Plus
- 1½ tablespoons sugar
- ½ lime, juiced
- 10 mint leaves
- Crushed ice
- 2 ounces white rum
- Club soda to top
- Mint and lime wedges for garnish
Directions
- Heat water to make tea. Add matcha and whisk well until dissolved. Set aside to cool, then whisk in Daily Greens Plus.
- Add sugar, lime juice, and mint leaves to a glass and muddle together. Add crushed ice.
- Add rum and matcha mixture to a shaker filled with ice. Shake and strain into glass.
- Top with club soda, stir well, and garnish with mint leaves and lime wedges.
- Enjoy!
Mock Minty Green Mule
1 serving // Prep time: 5 minutes
Ingredients
- 1-2 tablespoons lime juice (fresh squeezed if possible)
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 3-4 mint leaves (optional)
- ¼ cup club soda
- ½ scoop (1 teaspoon) Daily Greens Plus
- ¾ cup ginger beer (non-alcoholic)
Directions
- Place lime juice, sugar, mint leaves, club soda, and Daily Greens Plus in a shaker bottle with some ice and shake well.
- Pour into serving mug (copper mule mug if possible)
- Fill mug half full with ice
- Add ginger beer
- Garnish with a lime wedge and mint leaf
Garlic Greens Hummus
Yields 1½ cups // Prep time: 15 minutes
Ingredients
- ¼ cup well-stirred tahini
- ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 scoop (2 teaspoons) Thorne’s Daily Greens Plus
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, plus more for serving
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- ½ teaspoon cumin
- Salt, to taste
- 1 can (15 ounces) chickpeas
- 2-3 tablespoons water or aquafaba (liquid in chickpea can)
- Paprika or sumac for serving
Directions
- In a food processor, combine tahini, lemon juice, and Daily Greens Plus. Process for one minute, then scrape the sides of the bowl.
- Process another 30 seconds to whip the tahini.
- Add olive oil, garlic, cumin, salt, and drained chickpeas. Process for one minute, scrape the bowl, and repeat until thick and smooth.
- If needed, while the processor is running, slowly add 2-3 tablespoons of cold water or aquafaba to reach a smooth consistency.
- Serve with a drizzle of olive oil and dash of paprika or sumac.

Creamy Greeny Guac
Yields 2 cups // Prep time: 15 minutes
Ingredients
- 3 avocados, cubed
- ⅓ cup mayonnaise
- 1 tomato, finely diced
- 1 large jalapeño, seeds removed and finely diced
- 2 teaspoons lime juice
- 1½ tablespoon cilantro, minced
- 1 scoop (2 teaspoons) Thorne’s Daily Greens Plus
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
- Add avocado to a large bowl and mash with a fork
- Add all remaining ingredients and mix well
- Serve with tortilla chips or add it to tacos, enchiladas, or nachos!
Minted Salsa Verde
4 servings // Prep time: 15 minutes
Ingredients
- 2 bunches fresh parsley
- 1 bunch fresh cilantro
- 1 scoop (2 teaspoons) Thorne’s Daily Greens Plus
- 2 tablespoons salted capers
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
- ⅔ cup extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
- Chop herbs and add to a food processor with Daily Greens Plus, capers, garlic, mustard, and vinegar. Pulse to combine.
- While the food processor is running, slowly pour in the olive oil until processed and smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper, and serve over grilled lamb, fish, or chicken.
