You’ve heard of Dry January. Get ready for Sober October. It’s almost spooky season, but that’s no reason to be scared!

Sober October is more than a fun rhyme – it's part of an extended global campaign to promote short-term abstinence from alcohol. You don’t have to cut cold turkey: Research shows that a temporary pause in regular alcohol consumption – or even a reduction in the number of drinks consumed – can benefit sleep, mood, energy levels, and overall health.

Whatever your goals for Sober October, we’ve got you covered with these non-alcoholic cocktails featuring some of our favorite Thorne supplements. Designed by our in-house mixologists – aka Thorne's Marketing team, including your favorite Take 5 Daily writer (check out my take on a Bloody Mary, with Thorne’s L-Glutamine) – these mocktails will scare up a good time all season long!

Cranberry Collagen Sparkler

Kick off fall with a cranberry cocktail that’s not too tart and full of fizz. We love the brightness that lime juice adds to this luscious collagen mocktail, but you can keep things sparkling as winter approaches by replacing the lime with orange. Garnish with a few whole cranberries for a touch of fruity je ne sais quoi.

Hair-of-the-Dog Recovery Mary

Are you overrun with garden-fresh tomatoes this year? If your local CSA or farmers market has an overabundance of tomatoes, turn them into fresh tomato juice to make this Bloody Mary extra delicious. (Pro-tip: Blend the tomatoes whole and pass the puree through a fine-mesh strainer to remove the seeds.) Two or three medium tomatoes will produce the amount of juice needed for this nutrient-forward cocktail. Or simply buy your favorite brand of no-sugar-added tomato juice from the store.
