We will continue to offer calcium combined with magnesium in our Cal-Mag Citrate Effervescent Powder (ZM222). In November we will also launch a new bone health product – Basic Bone Nutrients – which will contain calcium, magnesium, vitamin D, and vitamin K.

Citric acid is a naturally occurring organic acid that is able to efficiently bind three mineral molecules for every one of its own molecules. Studies have shown significantly more calcium is absorbed in the body from calcium citrate than from calcium carbonate. One study found patients with low hydrochloric acid levels absorbed an average of 10 times more calcium from citrate than from carbonate.

How to Use
Recommended Use or Purpose (Adults, Adolescents and Children >2 years old):
Adequate calcium (and vitamin D) (throughout life) as part of a healthy diet, (along with physical activity) may help prevent bone loss/osteoporosis (in peri- and postmenopausal women) (in later life). Helps in the development and maintenance of bones and teeth especially in childhood, adolescence and young adulthood. A factor in the maintenance of good health.
Recommended Dose (Adults):
Take one capsule 3 times daily or as recommended by a health-care practitioner.
