A three-dimensional outlined polygonal shape rises onto the screen over a background of shifting green and yellow gradient colors. The shape rotates as it zooms in towards the camera. As its edges expand, they reveal words, which shift as the edges of the shape continue to rotate. The words read: “your health journey begins here.”
Narrator: Congratulations on taking the first steps to uncover deeper insights about your health.
The title of the video appears in text, saying “How it works: Health Panel Blood Draw.”
Narrator: In this video, we’ll show you the simple step-by-step instructions for completing your health panel blood draw.
As the video continues, text emphasizing the narration appears on the left side of the video, while visuals appear on the right side. The text does not add any information not present in the narration. The visual on the right side of the frame is an email with the header “Prepare for your Collection Lab Appointment. Beneath the email body there are two buttons that say 1.) download lab order and 2.) Schedule appointment.
Narrator: After purchasing your test, you’ll receive an email with your lab order requisition form, which you’ll want to download and bring with you to the lab.
A cursor clicks on the download lab order button and an example lab order appears on the screen.
Narrator: The email will also remind you to complete your health profile.
Scrolling down the email a third button that says “Complete health profile” is shown. The cursor clicks on it, and the screen changes to show the health profile input form, and gradually scrolls and dissolves through several pages. It is a very detailed and comprehensive form.
Narrator: Completing your health profile is an important step and should be finalized before visiting the lab for collection. You’ll want to fill out each section of your profile as accurately as possible to ensure you receive the most precise insights and recommendations when calculating your age score. If you aren’t able to finish your health profile in one sitting, don’t worry, you will be able to log out and save your progress for another time.
The cursor clicks the continue button and the webpage transitions to the user’s health profile page on Thorne.com, and in a sidebar on the left side of the screen clicks on a tab labeled “Test results.”
Narrator: You can view the status of your test through your Thorne profile, under the Test Results tab. Here you’ll see any outstanding action items along with instructions for the next steps of your health panel blood draw. The next step is to find a lab near you.
The cursor clicks on the “schedule” button on the right side of the screen, which opens a window. The cursor follows the directions outlined by the narrator to arrive at the page for scheduling a lab visit.
Narrator: Under your Test Results tab in your Thorne account, click the ‘Schedule’ button to open a new window to the collection lab’s website. Follow the instructions seen on the new page to set up a collection appointment on a date and time that convenient for you.
The website imagery on the side transitions away as the words “Before visiting, do the following” appear center-screen, emphasizing that the next steps will be important.
Narrator: Lastly, before visiting the lab, it’s important to keep two things in mind.
A color image of empty plates, bowls and silverware transitions to black and white, emphasizing that they are empty.
Narrator: First, make sure to fast at least 12 hours before your visit – it will help ensure the most accurate results.
The visuals on the right transition to an example lab requisition form.
Narrator: Second, download and bring your lab requisition form with you. This form was emailed to you and can also be found under the Test Results section of your Thorne account.
The words “The lab will process your sample” appear center frame, signifying that your work in the process is finished, you just have to wait.
Narrator: After your blood draw, the lab will process your sample, which typically takes less than 0 days.
The health profile page appears on the right side of the screen, scrolling through to emphasize its importance and how detailed it is.
Narrator: You’ll also need to need to fully complete your health profile before you’ll be able to receive and review your results.
The health profile page transitions into the results panel, which scrolls down to reveal scales and charts outlining information and insights about biological age, age rate, organ and system ages, biomarkers measured, and more.
Narrator: Once the lab has processed your sample, your results will be immediately analyzed using Thorne's Health Intelligence platform to create the most in-depth and accurate picture of your health and biological age.
An example email appears with the header “Your results are ready” and a button that says “view results”. The cursor moves down and clicks the button.
Narrator: We’ll notify you by email when you can view your results through your Thorne account.
Words on the screen emphasizing the final lines of narration, cut to an animation of the Thorne logo on black.
Narrator: That’s all there is to it! Now you are just days away from starting your new health discoveries.
