Welcome! My name is Kimberly Baydarian. I am a traditionally trained medical doctor. I completed medical school at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in 2000 and I completed my Family Medicine residency at York Hospital where I served as chief resident. I have been board certified in Family Medicine since 2004 and I have practiced family medicine in both a community health center and in private practice. I absolutely loved primary care and I cared very deeply for my primary care patients. However, my career path and life path were forever changed in August 2015 when I was injured by a toxic reaction to an antibiotic. The toxicity from the antibiotic was so severe that I was told that the sudden onset of peripheral neuropathy may be permanent. Peripheral neuropathy is when the nerves in your feet and hands are poisoned and symptoms can vary between numbness, buzzing, and tingling to burning, chronic pain, and severe physical and emotional disability. I sought out many specialist for help and when these traditional doctors had no answers for me and only pain medications, I sought out many amazing alternative medical providers. I also took it upon myself to dig deep into the root cause of my symptoms and I did this by learning functional medicine. I have since completed all the course work for the Institute of Functional Medicine and the Kalish Institute’s Functional Medicine Mentorship Program. Healing and reversing this major health event, along with practicing primary care since 2004, and now adding functional medicine, has catapulted me to become an expert in combining natural and traditional methods of healing. If you are looking for a balanced perspective and clinical expertise I welcome you to schedule an evaluation.
