Product Information
An alkaloid from Vinca minor (lesser periwinkle), vinpocetine has been used clinically in Europe and Asia for over 20 years. Vinpocetine selectively enhances circulation to the brain and protects nerve cells by supporting the brain's ability to utilize oxygen.* These mechanisms of action can enhance cognitive function.*
Recent studies show vinpocetine readily crosses the blood-brain barrier and is taken up by brain tissue.* A study in 15 subjects found a two-week vinpocetine trial enhanced cerebral blood flow, and recent studies using Doppler ultrasound and near-infrared spectroscopy showed enhanced cerebral blood flow in subjects given a single infusion of vinpocetine.* An analysis of six randomized, controlled trials involving 731 subjects showed vinpocetine supplementation supported cognitive function.*
Ingredients
One Capsule Contains:
Vinpocetine 10 mg.
Vinpocetine 10 mg.
Other Ingredients:
Microcrystalline Cellulose, Hypromellose (derived from cellulose) capsule, Leucine, Silicon Dioxide.
Suggested Use:
Take 1 capsule two to three times daily or as recommended by a health-care practitioner.

ALLERGY WARNINGS
This product is contraindicated in an individual with a history of hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients.
EXCIPIENT FREE
This product does not contain wheat, gluten, corn, yeast, soy, egg, dairy products, or artificial colors, sweeteners, or flavors. This product also does not contain lactose, palmitic acid, or magnesium, calcium, or vegetable stearates.
PREGNANCY WARNING
If pregnant, consult your health-care practitioner before using this product.
INTERACTIONS/CONTRAINDICATIONS
Since vinpocetine has blood-thinning activity, this product should be used with caution or avoided in individuals on anticoagulant therapy.
