Arthragen

Clinical research and experience has shown that one of the most common concerns with dogs is maintaining good joint health. Joint problems often become worse in cold and/or damp weather. In Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine, this condition is called a "Bi Syndrome."

Arthragen has been formulated to address the elimination of "wind-cold-damp" and enhance tonification of kidney yang. It can be used with anti-inflammatories, including steroidals and nonsteroidals, and with other nutritional supplements.

Western Indications:
For nutritional support: (1) in animals with chronic joint pain; (2) in animals with chronic muscle pain; (3) in animals with bone degeneration; (4) in dogs with arthritis; and, (5) in animals with rheumatism.

Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) Applications:
Kidney qi/yang deficiency with wind-cold-damp
Bi-syndromes
Weak back
Wind-cold-damp rheumatism
Pale or blue tongue
Weak deep pulse

Course: As needed. Arthragen can be used over many months. It should be taken 1-3 months for its maximum effects to be realized in bones and joints. If the animal is doing well, the dose can be reduced, or may be given only 1-2 weeks each month.

Note: A dog with "yin deficiency" signs, such as excessive thirst, panting, and heat intolerance, should not use Arthragen.
